| First generation adenovirus vector. GFP recombinant adenovirus. The viral backbone is E1/E3 deletion, replication deficient, serotype 5 adenovirus. AdCMV5-GFP is a recombinant adenovirus in which E1 region has been replaced by a CMV driven GFP expression cassette. The viral backbone we use for our constructs is an Ad5 subtype delta L327, lacking a XbaI fragment of 1.89 kb deleting almost all of the E3 region from 28593-30471 (79 to 85 Map units). The backbone is also E1 deleted. The E1a and E1b deleted region is from 358-3332. These numbers are based on Ad5 wt sequence. | |
