| In this system, GFP is co-expressed with a person's own CDNA in a IRES expression cassette. Both the gene of interest and the GFP are under the control of a modified CMV promoter, the CMV5 promoter. This vector offers a system to identify positive adenovirus recombinant plaques and to monitor cell infection and expression of cDNA in non-invasive manner.
